I enjoyed this movie very much, and I recommend you see this. The only downside of the movie is some parts I could not understand... Like how it's possible for a person to survive a huge explosion like that in the beginning of the movie, and like who the father is.... Did you ever think we might want to know who he was?? Didn't think so.... Also the father does train his but he abuses him to much to hard, I mean your father wouldnt hit you that hard....... Would he??? Didn't think so..... I'm going to rate this movie 4 stars....m

I have no idea why this film was released in the theaters and why people are being charged to watch it, I felt like I should have been paid to watch it, it was absolutely terrible. I guess if you approach this film as a comedy and if you get high or drunk you could sit through it without cursing under your breath. The filmmakers should be truly ashamed of this film and I really hope that they are. Lautner’s character is ridiculous and all he does is stare longingly into the camera and ocassionally take his shirt off, I do not think he is a terrible actor but he should definitely pick better movies if he wants to further his career. Overall, I do not recommend seeing this film in the theaters.

Wonderful movie for teenagers! I didn't expect it to be that interesting. Nice characters, actors and story. Loved it!

Abduction was pretty decent. It stars that guy from Twilight (not the main one) and is about a young man who realizes that his parents are not his biological parents. This is a fairly hard subject to tackle and I believe they did well in that regard. The biggest problem with this film was that the entire movie felt like they were trying to boost Laughtner’s (guy from Twilight) career. I’m sure all the Laughtner fans out there will say they absolutely loved this movie and that’s because he has his shirt off in the film quite a bit. It is a movie made for those fans, and nobody else. The story was pretty good though but the acting just killed the potential. There were some nice moments and some action but not enough to make me recommend this film.

In my opinion, you have to be high or drunk in order to enjoy this film or you have to be a hormonal teenager girl who was team Jacob. Basically, this film was absolutely terrible and i wish i did not have to sit through it completely sober and aware. There are countless scenes in this film that are stolen from other better movies and there are also way too many scenes where Taylor Lautner takes off his shirt and gives “meaningful” stares to the camera, should i continue? Overall, you will save your money and your brain cells if you stay away from this disaster.

Starring Taylor Lautner (from Twilight fame), Abduction is about a young kid who is starting to believe that the people who raised him may not be his true biological parents after all. Before I go any further, all Twilight fans should know that this movie definitely features Lautner’s six pack. I am sure the movie studio made sure of this. The movie can only be described as sort of entertaining. Most of the time it was pretty bad, with poor acting and a story lacking depth. At times I thought the film could turn around but was left wanting more. The entire time I was watching this film I was reminded of The Bourne Identity, but just a worser version. I wouldn’t suggest anyone see this film.

I do not even know where to start, this film is absolutely terrible and I sure hope that people will warn each other about it. The film was made for very silly teenage girls so they can look at Taylor Lautner's pecks and dreamy eyes. The film was made so Tayler could look intensely into the camera and ocassionally take off his shirt, it is absolutely ridiculous. Taylor Lautner is a terrible actor who can not deliver dialogue if his life depended on it. The filmmakers should be ashamed of themselves, I hope you read this review and avoid this film at all costs.

I (sort of) feel for guys like Taylor Lautner (sort of). They're known for one thing (in this case, taking off his shirt in the Twilight films), and they want to have a career beyond that, so at some point, they've got to branch out. But it's hard to get away from what you're known for, and Lautner hasn't found it in Abduction, a horrible, laughable film that won't do much to jumpstart his career outside of the franchise he make his name on.
This film was directed by John Singleton. Yes, the youngest ever Oscar nominee for Best Director, and the guy who has spent the rest of his career trying to obliterate that. Lautner stars as a high schooler who finds out that he's not who he thinks he is, and spends the film chasing after his real identity and trying to get away from the baddies. Lautner isn't a very good actor, but who would be when the bad guy threatens to kill all of your Facebook friends. The script is a joke, with really awful dialogue and preposterous plot points.
The film also can't tell who it's for. Lautner has a sizable female fan base, but this is an action film, meant for teenage guys. So when Lautner inevitably takes off his shirt to show off his stomach, you get the sense that the producers are trying to go after everyone. Well, if by "everyone" you mean people who enjoy bad movies.

The film was made for the teenage girls who are team Jacob(Twilight) and who will pay to see Taylor Launter on the big screen. The film is a real disgrace and I hope that the filmmakers feel at least a little bit ashamed of this terrible movie. There is no action in this film, no real plot and it is all about Taylor Launter looking hot and taking his shirt off as often as possible, that is all he is good for anyway, it makes me angry that this guy can call himself an actor. Poor Lilly Collins is just there to be boring and dull so Taylor can “shine” more brightly, I can not even tell you how angry I was after seeing this film.

This is an action/adventure film about a boy who sets out to uncover his past, the film is directed by John Singleton and stars Taylor Lautner, Lily Collins and Alfred Molina. I did not like this film and i do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. the film was really dumb and it seems that it was made so Taylor Launter could look hot and prove once again that he can not act if his life was dependant on it. This film was made for the girls who liked him in Twilight, so they can look at him and drool, I was seriously insulted and really wanted my money back, I can’t believe that the filmmakers would fall so low.
