I really did not like this film at all and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters because it is not worth your money or your time. The stories in the film were not interesting and did not relate to each other too well and i did not find the characters to be interesting or compelling. The film is also very gloomy and depressing, I felt sad after I left the theater and I hate when films make me feel like that. I am so sick of films like this one and why they are always set in Los Angeles?! I thought that the actors did an alright job with their roles, i mean some of them bombed but pothers managed to do a pretty good job. Overall, I do not think this film was good and worth to be released in theaters.
I really hated this film with passion and I hope you will read my review and save your money. The film had absolutely no point or message and the stories did not tie together, it was a complete mess. The situations and the characters in the film did not have a purpose and it is terrible to sit in the theater and realize that you are watching a film that has absolutely no meaning and on top of that it was extremely boring. I thought that some of the performances were pretty good but others bombed pretty bad, like Dane Cook who should just stick to comedy because he is not much of the actor. The film was also pretty depressing and I definitely do not need to feel sad over the Holidays.
I did not like this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film was trying to connect all these different characters but it failed to do so, the connection was too loose and insignificant and the film seemed to be made of group of separate short stories. The film was trying to be heartfelt but it did not feel that way and the stories did not affect me or move me in any way. I did not find the stories to be interesting either and the characters were pretty boring as well. i do have to say that the performances were pretty strong but it did not save the film from being mediocre.
This is a drama about lost souls trying to find their way in Los Angeles, the film is directed by Matthew Leutwyler and stars Dane Cook, Elizabeth Mitchell and Julie Benz. This is one of those films that try to connect many different people and this film failed to do it. The characters in the film were too loosely connected and it just did not work because instead of one fluent story there were many stories. I did not really care about the characters in the film either and could not care less what will happen to them. The performances were strong but it could not save this film. Overall, I do not recommend seeing this film in the theaters.
