I like this move, it has a good setup, the characters make it what it it. 5 stars.

This movie was "blew" mainly because the Green Hornet was basically the story of an adolescent occupying an adult body. Kato, originally from China, had trouble enunciating his lines but is an awesome karate artist. I doubt he'll have much of a future in Hollywood unless he commits to speech therapy.

The only redeeming factor was Cameron Diaz. Of course, Cameron can make just about any movie, no matter how bad it is, worth watching. She didn't disappoint in this flick, but the Green Hornet definitely did.

If you haven't seen it yet, I'd suggest you Red Box it. It's not worth spending much more than a buck on.

Seth Rogan and Jay Chou star in the latest remake of the super hero classic, Green Hornet. I don’t really understand why the hornet is green but that’s how it has been for as long as the franchise has been around. I personally have never heard of a green hornet. The movie was very good in my opinion. I was a little hesitant to see Seth Rogan, not known for his physical prowess, as a super hero. I was absolutely mistaken. Both Seth and Jay did amazing jobs in their respective roles. The one thing that stood out about the movie was that it was very “cool.” The dialogue was cool, the action was cool, the car was extremely cool and everything else about the movie was cool. I have never seen anything about the Green Hornet before this movie but I have heard of it before. After this movie, I am going to look into the franchise because I very much enjoyed the movie and it turned me onto the Green Hornet as a super hero. I recommend this movie to anyone.

Green Hornet is the newest superhero movie starring Seth Rogan and Jay Chou. I believe the Green Hornet is first based on a radio program from the 1930s, so it is very old. This is a totally revamped version though. After the death of his father, Britt Reid (Seth Rogan) teams up with Kato (Jay Chou) who was his father’s assistant to become a masked crime fighting team. The movie was absolutely awesome. I am a fan of every aspect of this movie. I already enjoy super hero movies and Seth Rogan is one of my favorite actors because he is super funny. Seth and Jay do a great job in this film. They are hilarious and have a great chemistry with each other. They are very believable for the parts in this movie. Whoever did the casting for this film did an excellent job. The action is also very cool. There are plenty of battles and explosions. My favorite part of the movie was definitely the car. I went to the LA auto show a few weeks back and they had this car on display there. It was very cool to see it in action in the movie. The story was great and the movie wasn’t too long. Overall, great movie.

To put it simply, I did not enjoy Green Hornet. Green Hornet stars Seth Rogan (from such films as Pineapple Express and 40 Year old Virgin) and Jay Chou (I’ve never heard of him before). Seth Rogan was the same character he plays in every movie he’s in, himself. He has no range of acting skills but that is expected from a comedian. Jay Chou did an alright job but not much acting skills was needed for a superhero movie. Judging this movie on entertainment value alone, I will say it was probably worth half of what I paid to see it. I am not the biggest superhero movie fan so I may be biased to begin with. I saw this movie with my husband and he really enjoyed it (of course). The only saving grace of the film was that Seth Rogan was funny, but I guess that is why they casted him for the film. There was plenty of action packed scenes in the film but that is not why I go see movies. I should have known better than to see this movie. I suggest this film to any teenage boys because they will love it, otherwise stay away.

Green Hornet, directed by Michael Gondry, was a pretty good movie. This is the first time I have seen or heard of Seth Rogan trying to play a super hero in a movie. Jay Chou is also a first for me as well. I have not seen him in anything else. These two play masked superheros after Seth’s character’s father dies. The two did just an o.k job making these heroes come to life on the big screen. The movie had its funny points and was pretty action packed. I think visually it could have looked a little better, comparing it to such super hero movies as Spiderman, but overall I couldn’t complain. I know this movie was also released in 3D but I only saw it in 2D. I can’t really understand the appeal of this film specifically in 3D although I may have to see it for myself to judge. The acting in Green Hornet was exactly what I excepted, not amazing but not terrible. Seth Rogan seemed to play himself like he plays in every movie but Jay Chou I thought did a very good job of being Kato. If you are looking for a fun movie to see on a date, this is probably a safe bet. It is funny and not too long.
