I absolutely fell in love with Ma di Tau, who is the main “actress” in this doc**entary. This movie offers a very up-close look a the life of the lioness and her cubs. I realize that the film was induced with created drama and the narrator offered us the explanations for not only what lioness is doing but also what she is thinking and feeling (I wonder if Jeremy Irons developed an ability to understand what animals feel and think), i still liked the film and I recommend to see it. It was absolutely amazing visually and I could not get over how cute those cubs are and what an amazing animals lions are. The message of the movie is sad and alarming: the lions are forced out of their territories by humans and they are starting to kill their own kind because of it.
What an amazing movie! I absolutely loved it and recommend seeing it as soon as you can. The film is only 85 minutes but it took about 6 years worth of footage to make this beautiful film. First of all, the move is stunning visually and the main characters are lions. I adore lions, they truly are the most majestic animals and I have a weird fascination with them. The film is really intense and the footage is so intimate and often arouses sympathy and distress. It is definitely a high-drama film and I do not suggest taking your children with you because some of the footage is not meant for kids. By the end of the film I was so invested in the well being of the lioness and her cubs that I could barely watch the film. I highly recommend seeing this film if you love and care about nature.
