Do you like hot girls? Do you like mayhem? Do you like to party HARD? This movie has it all! It's NOT Super Bad, American Pie or Harold & Kumar funny (not those kind of movies at all). However it's cool in its own way, IF you just let it be, what it is meant to be... a movie about a truly epic high school party. And ignore all those 1 star ratings, they were all written by people who didn't have enough sense to see the previews and realize they HAVE NO BUSINESS GOING TO A MOVIE LIKE THIS. Those people all need to go back to doing what they are good at, reviewing art films that you couldn't pay me to see. A right...

I was hoping that Project X was a remake of the Matthew Broderick movie about monkeys. Instead, it's about a different kind of animal: teenagers. Namely, movie teenagers. You know the ones, those who think about sex and social status 24/7. Listen, I thought about that stuff too, but I also worried about school and pissing off my parents. Our three main characters are three stereotypical teens, including the now requisite jerk friend, here it's Oliver, who I can never understand why anyone would want to hang out with. Thomas is the quieter friend, and about to turn 17. His parents are conveniently going out of town, so Oliver decides to set up a party at Thomas's house. Of course, being the guy who will do anything to get popular, he uses Craigslist to send out the invitation, which leads to 1500 people showing up for debauchery. The writers went through every teen party movie ever made and pulled out the least funny parts. There's a few amusing moments, but mostly, it's a very loud, obnoxious film. It looks a lot like a music video that goes on way too long. Oh, and did I mention it has that "found footage" look I'm so fond of? Yeah, there's not an original idea in this movie. I've been out of high school for 20 years now, and I laugh when I hear people say they wish they could go back and do it again. If this movie is any indication of what goes on there, I'm glad I'm old.

I do not recommend seeing this film in the theaters because it is not worth your time or money. This film is created for teenagers who do not get invited to their own high school parties and can live out the experience through this stupid movie. If you are an adult and you are watching this film and liking it then there is something seriously wrong with you. The movie is very chaotic, there is no purpose in it and it is absolutely not funny. The film is also mean spirited and sexist and I was just overall disgusted by it. I hope people will not see this film and not support it.

Even from the previews i could tell that this film is going to be stupid and i was absolutely right. Why make a film about nothing, it makes no sense to me but i guess the filmmakers found it important to expose the audience to hour and a half of teenagers partying and doing stupid things. It is also one of those “found footage” film which made this film even more annoying. The film has no structure, it is extremely chaotic and you probably will not understand what is going on, not that it really matters. Overall, it would be a great waste of your time and money if you decided to see this film.

This is a comedy about 3 teenagers who decide to throw a party and it gets out of hand, the film is directed by Nima Nourizadeh and stars Thomas Mann, Oliver Cooper and Jonathan Daniel Brown. This film was definitely not worth seeing in the theaters and I do not recommend spending your money or your time on this film. The movie was extremely chaotic and most of the time I had no idea what was going on, not that it was important anyway because this film is about teenagers partying and nothing else. The film has no purpose or direction and I can not believe that i had to sit through hour and a half of this nonsense. The film had no structure either and I was really angry and disappointed. Overall, I do not think this film was worth releasing in the theaters.
