Puss in Boots Movie Reviews

I am a big fan of “Shreck” movies and I was looking forward to seeing this film but did not have high expectations, however I was pleasantly surprised with this film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. I thought that the animation was fun and funny, it had great characters and great actors were playing those characters. I absolutely loved Antonio Banderas as Puss, he was great in “Shreck” films as well but he definitely stepped it up in this film. I went to see the film with my eight year old nice and we both had a great time. Overall, I think it is a great family film and everybody will have a good time watching it.
I really liked this film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. It was funny, it was cute and it was interesting and those are ingredients for a great film. The characters in this film were great and very well developed, i honestly did not think that this film will be any good(i love Shrek films so much) but it held its own and definitely won me over. Antonio Banderas did a great job and he was very charming and funny as Puss, I can not imagine anyone else playing this character. Overall, it is a great film to see with your family and have a great time.
I did not expect this film to be good at all, but I was pleasantly surprised. I took my nephew to see it because he was begging me for two weeks and we both had a great time watching this movie. I thought that it was funny enough and also really adorable, I could have gone without that many cat jokes but kids loved it so I can not argue against it. Antonio Banderas did an amazing job with the character, it was a real pleasure to watch and listen. Overall, this is a great film to go see with your family, you will have a jolly good time.
I was so excited when i found out that a film is being made strictly about Puss in the Boots, I could not wait to see it. I was not disappointed with this film, it was really cute and funny and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. The comic timing of the film was absolutely perfect and I think that Banderas once again did a great job with Puss in The Boots character. If you are a cat person, you will love this film because there are a lot of cat jokes, my friend did not enjoy it as much as I did but she is a dog person I guess. I think this film will be liked by children and adults.
Towards the end of its run, the Shrek series was pretty darn bad, and the only reason to watch, in my opinion, was Puss In Boots, the swashbuckling cat voiced by Antonio Banderas. Hearing that voice come out of that cat was always something that made me smile. Now the cat has his own movie, and it's a lot of fun, replacing the tired pop culture references of Shrek with actual character based humor.
This prequel follows the story off Puss as he and his best pal Humpty Dumpty as they attempt to steal magic beans from Jack and Jill so they can grow a beanstalk and steal golden eggs. Early on, Puss meets Kitty Softpaws, a female thief whom you know Puss is going to try to seduce. Kitty is voiced by Salma Hayek, who has worked with Banderas several times over the years. It's a great bit of casting, as the two work really well off of each other.
What's great about this film is that it just allows the characters to be funny, instead of trying to shoehorn in a bunch of lame movie references. There's a great dance sequence towards the beginning of the film that is incredibly well choreographed, and would work well in a live action film, which is really the best compliment. This movie doesn't act like an animated film, it just acts like a really good movie.
